Our commitment

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, as our goal. It's a goal we work toward, not a certification. We check new pages against it and fix problems when we find them.

What we've done on our site

  • Labels, row numbers and small text are dark enough to read easily on their backgrounds.
  • Buttons and links on phones have tap areas at least 44 pixels tall.
  • When you use a keyboard, a clear green outline shows where you are.
  • Headlines wrap in balanced lines, so they're easier to read.
  • If your device asks for reduced motion, we turn off our animations.
  • Pages use real headings in order, so screen readers can jump between sections.
  • Images have text descriptions. Purely decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.

What we've done in our spreadsheets

  • Plain, readable Arial in every cell, with no tiny text.
  • The cells you fill in are marked by color and explained in words, so you don't have to rely on color alone.
  • Every spreadsheet opens on a Start Here tab with step-by-step instructions.
  • No macros, so they work the same in Excel and Google Sheets.

What we're still working on

  • Spreadsheet charts and color cues. Excel and Google Sheets don't read charts and cell colors out loud well. If you use a screen reader, email us and we'll explain what a chart shows or send the numbers as text.
  • Plugin settings screens. Our WordPress plugins use the standard WordPress admin, but some of our own screens, like color pickers and previews, may be hard to use with a keyboard or screen reader. We're improving them with each update.

Report a problem or ask for help

Email hello@easyworktools.com. Tell us the page or tool, what you were trying to do, and what got in the way. We usually reply within one business day.

Need something in another format, like plain text, larger print, or the steps written out? Just ask and we'll send it.
